British BBQ Wings











Kit Needed:
• Baking tray

Shopping List:
• Chicken wings
• Handful of British baby leaf watercress
• Good shaking of British BBQ Rub
• Dash of olive oil



Method:

1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees, and lightly oil a baking tray.

2. Tumble the chicken wings through a small dash of olive oil and the British BBQ Rub.

3. Spread the wings evenly across the tray and cook for approximately 25 minutes.

4. Garnish with fresh baby leaf watercress. Enjoy!

Individual Winter Fish Pie With A Sweet Potato Top




Kit Needed:
• 3 pans
• Small frying pan
• Oven proof dish
• Potato masher or ricer
• Piping bag

Shopping List:
• Fish pie mix (diced salmon, cod, smoked haddock & king prawns)
• Couple of sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
• 100g of flour
• Half a pint of milk
• Handful of smoked grated cheese
• Spinach
• Chopped chives
• Soda bread
• Butter
• Lemon wedge to garnish




Method:

1. Gently sauté the fish pie mixture with some butter for around 10 minutes.

2. In a separate pan melt a knob of butter, stir in the flour, cook on a low heat until the mix turns pale.

3. Slowly add milk to the mixture, whilst whisking to prevent lumps, before stirring in your cheese.

4. Meantime boil the sweet potatoes for around 10 minutes until tender.

5. Mash the sweet potatoes with plenty of butter until creamy.

6. Place the fish mixture in an oven dish with the cheese sauce.

7. Pipe a sweet potato mash lid, sprinkle over the chives, and Lemon & Mustard Crumb.

8. Oven bake your fish pie for around 30 minutes, until bubbling and crispy.

9. Whilst your pie bakes, wilt spinach with a little butter and toast your soda bread.

10. Plate up on a chunky wooden board with a wedge of lemon. Enjoy!

BBQ Lime Sweet Potato Hasselbacks




Kit Needed:
• Cooks Knife
• Baking Dish

Shopping List:
• 2 medium sweet potatoes
• Good quality olive oil
• Good shake of British BBQ Rub
• Lime
• Small bunch of coriander



Method:

1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.

2. Slice your sweet potatoes two thirds of the way through in 1cm intervals.

3. Brush the potatoes with a little olive oil, season and add to the oven for 50 minutes.

4. Whilst your potatoes are baking mix together in a ramekin a dash of olive oil, the juice from half a lime, and a healthy shaking of British BBQ Rub.

5. Remove from the oven, and brush over your mixture, making sure it drips between the segments.

6. Return to the oven and cook for a further 10 to 15 minutes.

7. Serve up and sprinkle over some fresh coriander. Enjoy!

Zingy British BBQ Sizzled Peppers










Kit Needed:
• Frying pan
• Sharp knife

Shopping List:
• Red, yellow & orange pepper
• Red onion
• Half a lime
• Hearty sprinkling of British BBQ Rub
• A good quality oil for cooking



Method:

1. Heat an oiled pan on a high heat.

2. Slice your peppers and onion then then add to the pan with the lime.

3. Fry until softened, then sprinkle over your British BBQ Rub and cook from a further minute.

4. Squeeze over your caramelised lime and serve. Enjoy!

Creamy Lemon & Mustard Baked Meatballs












Kit Needed:
• Frying pan suitable for oven use
• Mixing Bowl

Shopping List:
• 500g pork mince
• 50g of Lemon & Mustard Crumb
• Rocket
• Tub of single cream
• Grated cheddar cheese



Method:

1. In a mixing bowl mix together the pork mince and the 3/4 of the lemon & mustard rub, and form into evenly sized meatballs.

2. Fry the meatballs off for 10 minutes until crisp and golden on the edges.

3. Stir in cream, and leave to simmer for a couple of minutes.

4. Top with the remaining lemon & mustard crumb, and grated cheese then add to a 180 degree oven for 15 minutes.

5. Sprinkle over fresh rocket to serve. Enjoy!

Scrambled Eggs With A Kick







Kit Needed:
• 2 Frying pans
• Mixing jug
• Fork
• Wooden spatula

Shopping List:
• 3 eggs
• Couple of slices of bacon
• British rocket
• White Bloomer
• Knob of butter
• Good sprinkling of GBB Bloody Mary Rub



Method:

1. Add your butter to a frying pan over a medium heat.

2. Crack your eggs into a mixing jug, sprinkle in your Bloody Mary Rub and whisk with a fork.

3. Pour your egg mixture into the pan, and stir gently until your eggs are almost cooked.

4. Meanwhile fry your bacon in a small frying pan with a little olive oil until cooked to your liking.

5. Thickly slice & grill the bloomer bread.

6. Butter your toast, and add to a board with fresh rocket.

7. Top the toast with your scramble & bacon. Enjoy!
