We've been back out on the road visiting more of our favourite farm shops, and this is one that really can't be missed off our list! Bolster Moor is a working farm rearing it's own beef with a huge farm shop overlooking the village of Golcar in Huddersfield. The farm comes with it's own coffee shop and cafe serving freshly made award winning pies, lasagnes, English breakfasts and more, plus we can confirm that they definitely know how to make a tasty latte.
The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and are completely happy to give any advice you may need about cooking or cuts. There's a huge selection of fresh meat, vegetables and lots of great independent brands that you can pick up from their shelves too. Not only that, but they also produce their own free quarterly magazine which is packed full of tips, offers and lots of exciting yummy recipes for the whole family, and quite frankly, the burger on the front is completely mouthwatering.
We'll definitely be visiting Bolster Moor again in a hurry, and we recommend you do too! We'll be bringing you more 'must visit' butchers and farm shops soon.
