Kit Needed:
• Cooks knife
• Small saucepan
• Oven tray
Shopping List:
• 2 British Parsnips
• A squirt of maple syrup
• Scoop of Bloody Mary Rub
• Watercress to serve
Method:
1. Preheat the oven, you'll want a high temperature, and put a pan of salty water on the hob to boil.
2. Peel the parsnips and chop in half lengthways.
3. Blanch the parsnips for around 4 minutes, or until you can pierce the centre with a fingernail.
4. Place in your oven tray, and zigzag with maple syrup, followed with a good sprinkle of Bloody Mary.
5. Roast on high until jammy and golden.
6. Serve up with some peppery British watercress. Enjoy!
