We're back again to bring you another amazing farm shop, this time we're talking about Taylors Farm Shop in Lathom, Lancashire. Taylors Farm is a 300 acre farm which grows wheat, barley and oats which is used to feed the cattle who are reared on site, and sold in the butchers after going to slaughter and hung for 21 days to bring out the natural flavours.
On site you'll find a farm shop which stocks a wide variety of fruit, veg, condiments and more, a gift shop, delicatessen and butchers. We caught up with butcher Steve who is a big fan of the GBB range, especially the Lemon & Mustard Crumb which he told us has been selling extremely well in the butchers, everyone just can't get enough of this one! Steve also took us to see some of the cows that they have at Taylors Farm, it was great to see how well they're looked after on site, and to see exactly where the meat comes from.
